For millennia, the Sunwell fueled the magical power of the high elves of Quel’Thalas. Then the Scourge ravaged their kingdom, decimated their population, and severed that vital link. Becoming blood elves, or Sin’dorei, the survivors carried the memory of the fallen into their new name. Their thirst for magic once led them toward demonic energies, before the restoration of the Sunwell opened another path for them. In World of Warcraft, developed by Blizzard Entertainment, they now work to rebuild their homeland and shape the future of the Horde, without renouncing their people’s heritage.
