But on this Earth, he is infected by nanotoxins released from the Joker's heart, merging the Dark Knight's perfect mind with the twisted psychosis of the Clown Prince of Crime. He then transforms into his ultimate form: The Batman Who Laughs, and becomes the instrument of an attempt to plunge the entire Multiverse into absolute violence, chaos, and darkness. This figure is inspired by the Dark Nights: Metal series from the DC Comics universe.
